Through what had to be the hottest day of the year, Bahamians and visitors alike took to the streets of Nassau to take part in the 1st ever Road Fever Party/Parade as a part of Bahamas Junkanoo Carnival celebrations.
We do not want to say much as truly our words could never describe the vibe and beauty of that day … LUCKILY WE TOOK A LOT OF PHOTOS!
The people of The Bahamas have showed that they are ready for something different in terms of expressing their culture. Yes it may not be the economic boom the Prime Minister projected and yes the commission has a lot to learn when it comes to organising the event, but the coming together of Bahamians that was experienced over the weekend was well worth it.
