Over the years much has been said about concerts in The Bahamas. Either the artist gets on stage really late, or never even shows up, the atmosphere just isn’t right, or the concert experience as a whole is anything but! But eLife242 was present and accounted for last weekend (March 14th, 2015) at the Heineken Red Star Access concert featuring rapper Big Sean. From the set up to the, drinks, the Heineken models dressed as silver nightstand lamps, it was all a great showing. And unlike in times past, the artist did not disappoint! Big Sean killed the stage and in our estimation, did not skimp on the performance just because it wasn’t in an a US arena with 100,000 people. In fact, the event was by invite only and had roughly about 1,000 people in attendance and made for an awesome, intimate experience. And witnessing a rapper perform with a live band??
