“You Can Lead A Horse To Water”, a play by Winston V. Saunders with Music and Rhythms by Cleophas R.E. Adderley Jr., that was first performed in Nassau at the Dundas Centre for the Performing Arts, in 1983 to rave reviews, was recently revived during the 2016 Shakespeare in Paradise Festival.

The eLIFE 242 team had heard much about the play its writers and original produces, so we decided that we should check out a play that has broken borders and been accepted by theater elites around the world.

The play immediately draws you in with its opening scene where the jury introduces the main character “Son” and his accusation of murder which would be his plight for the entire play.

The singing, the narration and the quick set changes keep you locked in and is an amazing display of all the talent the country has to offer. We do not want to give too much of the play away because we believe that when this play sees production again that all of you should go and see it.

We want to publicly praise the cast of actors who made this play come alive and hope that it won’t be a long wait to see this play again.
